Read about the NHBA nightly security patrol - a key initiative of the BID
At the end of 2008, NHBA established a dedicated security patrol to help create a safe and secure environment for North Harbour businesses operated by ICON Security following an open tender process.
The patrol operates within the BID area seven days a week from 6.00pm to 5.30am. Any issues (gates insecure, windows open, suspicious vehicles) are noted and reported to the NHBA daily.
In addition the patrol monitors and responds to all security issues in the area and affected businesses are followed-up.
